It’s going to be hard without this man.

This Gentle Giant….. of a man.

My life is going to be forever changed because of his presence in it and out of it.

My sisters and I were blessed with a wonderful man for a father.

He made us feel worthy.

He instilled in us a desire to be good people.

To be fair… because he was fair.

Kind,…. because he was kind.

Loving,…. because he was loving.

And Honest, ….because he was honest.

He was not perfect.

In fact, He was not always all of those things at all the right times,

but he was sure close.

And He was just perfect for us.

GOD Knows what he is doing when he makes a man like George W. Miller and gives him three girls.

I believe like most men, Daddy started out wanting a boy, or two or three…but he quickly realized God had other plans for him. He was going to help raise three women and bring them into the world with self worth… determination…. and a good head on their shoulders.

Daddy had high standards…

at times I succeeded…

And He loved me.

At times I failed

And He still loved me the same.

Over the years I’ve had the privilege of being his daughter, his fishing partner, his cook, his pharmacist, his driver, his caregiver and his friend….and one thing always stands out among everything else in the time I spent with him….

Daddy was always proud of his family. Each and every one of us.

He loved being a husband.

So much that when my mother passed away on April 27th he could not bear the world without her and he was in the hospital by April 30th with what appeared to be a broken heart.

He loved being a father.

And he was an excellent one.

On May 2nd Daddy entered hospice care and on May 7th ….his birthday…Daddys battle would end here on earth …and his new life with Mama in heaven would begin…

                                                                                                                         ,

What a birthday gift!

I am so thankful that God chose such a wonderful father for my sisters and I.

He will be greatly missed…

but greatly loved ………forever.
